I didn’t know David Ruffin personally, but I do have a brother who plays professional ball. As a sister and a sista I’ve had plenty of opportunities to make some observations about white women (in my circle we call them “groupie b****es”) and rich black men relationships. They are there waiting outside of the dressing rooms, in the airports and hotel lobbies . . . they know where to find them and will go through any lengths (and I mean any lengths) to degrade themselves to be with our fine black men. I think they give these ho’s a handbook in high school because they know to where go, what clubs to go to, and where to hang out and they don’t hide the fact that they are available and will do anything to be with them. The few who make it past the “one night stand” and are actually in a relationship have to keep “kissing the a$$es” of their black men, and they better not get out of line. I don’t know ANY black woman that would go for half the stuff that these white women go for. We don’t care if he’s rich or not, the relationship isn’t going to be all about the man. Some men, when they reach a certain status level don’t want a women who will tell them to “kiss my a$$” especially when the rest of world is kissing theirs (DER68 holla if you hear me).
There are a few solid relationships where I respect both the black man and the white women in them. With these entertainers new found wealth, they find themselves more often than not mingling in circles where the pool of available black women is extremely small, and by chance, not choice they find themselves in love with a person of another color.
But 2020 back to your post, if I was a black male ho, in town for one night, with one thing on my mind and wanted a guarantee that I would get it and not have to buy them dinner, some bling or promise to call them to call them the next day or ever again in life, hell yeah I would go with a cave bit** too. (go Ice Cube, go Ice Cube).
(with one fist in the air, and my head hung low yelling)Free Kobe!!!!
