Hi Common and Molly: If it were up to me, I'd get at least 70 tickets, $10 per name, for a total of $70. But, not everyone is prone to lose their money like we are. So, do we buy unequal shares, that is, we agree on a fixed number of tickets and some members contribute 5-10 dollars each while others put in 1-2 dollars, and each one gets the same proportion of the jackpot( if we win) as his contribution to the pool? I need feedback from der, CP, Evita, and shrink. See, the higher it gets, the more complicated it becomes. Why not 700 shares, or more? There are so many possibilities that I don't want to make the decision just by myself, unless I have to.

To make this less complicated, why not require a fix amount to contribute to the pot? That way, one person does not give more/less than the other. After all, if the money is to be divided equally, then the contribution to the pot should be the same. IMO.

Andy: Whatever you want us to put out. Molly & myself have already agreed to $5 each. I would still do $5 myself but I don't know how much everyone else is willing to do.

Okay if the fixed amount is $5 (five dollars) that is fine with me. I'm in. Andy, send me your address via email, and I'll get the money to you.

Hi Evita: You are in for $5, plus 43 cents for the first one, so too Common and Molly and me. We can settle up later. I trust you. Besides, if there is another rollover, you'll go in for more, true?

Everyone: Same agreement that if we hit the jackpot, 10% goes to a tax deductible charity, preferrably the David Ruffin Foundation or some other needy cause for kids or needy people, to be decided by majority vote. All agree? This agreement will carry over if the jackpot rolls over. Agree?

Everyone, please hold off sending anything right now. I just bought 35 tickets and I can keep a running tab until someone hits. I accept the word of Molly, Common, Evita, and CP. That's all I need. DER-where are you? Please don't be scared off thinking you must send the money to me. You could send it to CP, Molly or Common and they will send it to me. So DER, are you in or out?
