I belive in being informed. I watched this interview yesterday and was a little "ticked" off. "Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton inched closer Sunday to explaining how she would enforce her proposal that everyone have health insurance, but declined to specify — as she has throughout the campaign — how she would penalize those who refuse.
Mrs. Clinton, who did not answer Senator Barack Obama’s question on the topic in a debate last Thursday, was pressed repeatedly to do so Sunday by George Stephanopoulos on the ABC program “This Week.” When Mr. Stephanopoulos asked a third time whether she would garnish people’s wages, Mrs. Clinton responded, “George, we will have an enforcement mechanism, whether it’s that or it’s some other mechanism through the tax system or automatic enrollments.”
IS SHE SERIOUS? Garnish peoples wages,to pay for her Universal Health Plan? ?? That alone is going to make it hard for me to vote for her if she wins the nomination. www.nytimes.com/2008/02/04/us/politics/04checkpoint.html?ref=politicsBillary iz talkin krazy now!!!!! Aint nobode gittin muy mony!!! Beleive Dat!!!!!

Sh*t, I'll vote for Rosa Parks or Martin Luther King then, I just CAN'T vote for these fools running now! I totally respect the pics and the struggle because if I didn't even just a little bit, I wouldn't bother voting AT ALL! But I understand your frustration with me and my voting practices. Hell, I frustrate myself lol! But me putting MY NAME behind someone is like the biggest thing in the world to me (something I can't half-ass), and if I voted for Obama or Hilary or McCain I would be supporting and endorsing them in a big freakin' way, AND I CANNOT DO THAT!!! All I have is my name and my rep. and none of them are worthy of it, sorry.

I'm voting for Hillary..I like the fact that she wants health care for everyone because everyone especially those who don't have it that's trying so hard to get health insurance needs it. being denied health care is wrong and I think she'll find a way to get it for everyone. whether it's her or obama in office tax payers money is going to be used regardless..that's just how it is sad but true.

If your name is important to you...then you will vote! At least you can say you tried. To not vote means that you think it's a hopeless situation. Don't give up hope...VOTE! What if Dr King quit marching cuz he thought nothing would change? Nobody can afford not to vote. Be a part of this historic day and excercise your rights!

I like Hillary's health care plan too in theory. But she's talking about "mandatory" contributions ,to fund her heath care plan, and that garnishing wages could be an option . I'm not down for that. Also,I'm curious as to what role Bill Clinton is going to play in her presidency. I have always liked and supported Bill Clinton. Many good things happened esp in the African American community when he was president. But I don't think America needs another dual presidency, like we had when the Clintons were in the WH. If Hillary gets the nomination I will vote for her,but I truly don't think she can win in Nov.. The GOP wants her as the democratic candidate. In interview after interview they claim she will galvanize their party, because they can't bear having Bill back in the WH. Also she comes with so many negatives, they believe they can discredit her moreso than Obama. Tehy are also going to bash her because of her war vote. But no matter how you vote..the important thing is that you vote.

Furthermore,Hillary Clinton's health care plan makes it absolutely mandatory, by punishment of law, to purchase the government mandated health care system she plans to institute for all. If you refuse the health care you will be penalized and possibly have to appear in court! Is this the kind of Fascism that we need? I say Hell to the naw!

So this basically means that our taxes will be heavily increased to pay for this healthcare...which really means we will be working to take care of those who can't afford it. I don't think we should be taxed and further. I think this government should stop spending billions on war and other things that the rich benefit from. You're right facist! The government is supposed to be for the people by the people...not for certain people.

She's saying garnishment of wages is an option , Not only that, those that don't voluntarily fork over their money could be in violation of the law! She want's funding of her healthcare proposal to be mandatory. Now the media is reporting that her "base" is working class Americans. Wonder how much they're going to love Billary when she is taking $$$ from their pockets.
