The host was a straight-up dork...I was hoping Ruff would snatch that album out of his hand and beat him upside the head with it lol. Anyway, I loves me some Paul! What did he say in the host's ear? I couldn't make it out. Someone commented that Eddie had too much "swag" to participate in the ad-lib dance routine. But little does homegirl know that Eddie had no moves in the choreography (ad-libbed or not) when he was singing lead...nothing to do with "swag," sweetheart.

Ruff seemed to have a lot of fun with the it. Did you notice how Melvin could not stay still? lol. He kept on fidgeting. I was trying to make out what Paul was saying too. I'm thinking he said something along the lines of 'Dude, you're making a fool outta yourself'. I wish we could've heard them speak more. I really love Paul's speaking voice.

LOL I've seen this video before.
Towards the end I could make out what Paul whispered to the host. He told him: "You're killing the chorus..."
Yeah the host was dumb. It was funny how he was asking them if they were Smokey though...did he really not know that he wasn't actually in the Temptations? It was hard to tell when he was joking.

Welcome flameace! You have keen ears. I guess he called himself being funny by asking them if they were Smokey Robinson. Don't you know all black people look alike regardless of what shade we are! LOL. ;D

That was hilarious! The host was Lloyd Thaxton...goofy as hell...sorta reminds me of the guy on The Gong Show...Chuck Barris...was that his name? I think his goofy show maybe lasted a couple of years...used to have a lot of good acts tho.

[glow=red,2,300][/glow] Omg, I vaguely remember the name Lloyd Thaxton. (I lived then & now in Wash DC area.) This 'i'view' to me showed a lot of racism. That was par for the course in those days. Asking them to dance....mistaking them for other groups, ugh.

The host was be more than a bit condescending, I think Eddie and Paul knew it, they were smiling, but you could tell that they really were not amused at all.
