Somewhere on youtube there is a clip of David & Eddie walking down the street with I think Bruce Springsteen filmed for Live Aid. The longer version shows David at night in the front row of a large group of performers, and he looks like he's really into it.

Thank you for the information. I will be listening to the radio broadcast.
I am looking forward to David's segment too. I am really curious to see what will be said and who will be interviewed. The show is only 60 minutes long so I understand it can't cover everything. But, I really do hope David's segment will be an informative and historical 60 minutes. I don't want to hear the same recycled and tired stories, rumors and/or accusations.
I realize the kinds of stories that will be shared during his segment, will be predicated on who is actually interviewed. That said, I hope TV1 inteviewed people who really liked and loved David.
Welcome 20grandrevue! I, too, will be listening to the broadcast. Mr. Washington, will you be doing the honors of interviewing David's daughters again? It was great that you actually knew David and I liked the way you interviewed the Ruffin sisters from several years ago. I look forward to it.
The feeling is mutual when it comes to how David often presented. Very one-dimensional which I think is based on that Temptations movie. I was reading some comments on some of David's videos and I noticed a couple of posters mention the movie. I had not idea that it was running on cable (I'm cable challenged. lol). Some of those misconceptions stem from the movie. I really hope they focus on David's career after the Temptations. This could really trigger a renaissance of David's music and hopefully, try to clear alot of the misunderstandings and controversy that has surrounded David.
Tell me why you want to see a David Ruffin Unsung...in 50 wordds or less. ;D
David Ruffin along with Eddie Kendricks are two of the best singers that ever lived. While David was alive, I don't believe he received the recognition he deserved. Why was the Unsung segment based mostly Otis, who cannot sing and Gina whom David wasn't even married to. The unsung segment did not say she was his girlfriend and only changed her name after Davids death. If she was so afraid of David, then why did she take off and leave David Jr., in David and Sandra 's care for long periods of time. Gina was trying to promote her book, which I will never read and David Jr., was trying to promote his singing career by drumming up sympathy. I would like to hear more from his wives (2), one in which was not even mentioned and Dennis Edwards who truely was a friend to David.
Otis is a different story. I believe that Otis wanted the group to be called Otis Williams and the Temptations. The only thing wrong with that is because his voice was not good enough to lead a song. He has never given Eddie credit for co-founding the group. It was David, Eddie, Blue and Paul whose voice created the unique sound of the Temptations. You could have cut Otis out of the group and not miss anything. I believe O was jealous of David and cannot give an objective opinion.
