tHIS IS ABE AGAIN,ONE OF THE BEST TREATS THAT US DAVID RUFFIN FANS CAN GET IS THE SONG ON THE CD'LOST AND FOUND" THAT THE TEMPTATIONS ANNOUNCE"MY GIRL"AS THEIR LATEST SINGLE AT THE FOX THEATRE.THAT IS SOMETHING THAT DEFINITELY HAS HISTORICAL VALUE.

I want to tell fans of David IF i had achance to meet him i would have asked him his thoughts on the O'Jays a group that i'm a fan of musically does anyone have any opinion about what he might have thought of their music.Doesn't Walter Williams sound like he was partially influenced by David in his vocal style.

Hello This is abe again, can you imagine how it would have sounded if David did southen soul by either recording at Muscle Shoals or Stax?He was quoted in an interview in the late 80's tha there are a lot of people in the industry that shouldn't be singing imagine what he might say today about the state of R&B if he were still with us.

Abe. That would be interesting to hear Ruffin's views on todays artist and their music. Many things have been said about Ruffin postive and negative. The one thing that defines him is his love for his craft. His passion was music, and he did respect his chosen profession.

Abe...I think he would drop his head in shame! Back in the day...the guys sang on the corner for sport! If you couldn't sang you kept your butt off the corner. You had to come with something or keep your butt at home. Today, you don't have to have anything...just somebody to like you and promote you. Look at Ashanti. A certain artist from that era told me that's the very reason he is still touring...cuz people like her can't sing!

Hell while you're looking. Please look at J-Lo and or B Spears. I don't think any of the 3 of these artist could get past Simon on American Idol.

If David were the judge on American idol he would find a few artists who were talented but he'd be brutally honest about who doesn't have talent too.
