Thanks der... I think a sibling book is due...What do you think? It would be so great to hear how it was for them growing up and the rivalry they had going...I am sure you and I both have heard stories, but it would be nice to hear Jimmy's view as well. Also, the real deal about Jimmy and Motown, and his career. That is long overdue... Jody I agree I would love to hear from Jimmy about his baby brother and their relationship. As you know David always wanted Jimmy to be proud of him. And Jimmy was always so protective of David.

Hello folks! When I was told that Jimmy was writing a book, I was overjoyed. As a matter of fact, I was told he has been writing it for a while now, so hopefully he is almost finished with it. I would also like to read something from one of David's own children. That would be very interesting to read as well. Back to Eddie & David: I think these men loved & hated each other! LOL! I think that's why their relationship was so tight. They knew each other inside out! They were like brothers. They seemed to be very protective of each other. It was interesting to me that Eddie was so close to David as he was to Paul. In a sense, David & Paul were similar in some ways, personality wise. But what strikes me is that how loyal they were to each other. Now that's what I call a true friendship!

Hey Molly! Wow! You brought up some good ingredients that could be put in a book about David by one of his daughters. I would also love to hear how Sandra felt when she first heard My Girl on the radio. I wonder if Sandra ever went to any of the Motown Xmas parties? Things like that...I would love to hear Jimmy's accounts as well, particularly what it was like to work with various producers & songwriters etc. Though, I do want to hear about our David, I'd like to hear a little more about Jimmy & what makes/made him tick. I guess I like to hear all sides & know what a person's about so I could understand their view better.

Hello everyone:What I don't understand is Why Eddie and David took so long to hook up togrther. It was a natural. I am convinced Eddie's love for David ran deep. Watch some videos. Look at how Eddie looks at DR and hugs him on the Dancing tape. That was no act.AJA

;DMolly Marge, if there was ever a question in the beginning about who you are and what you meant to David, you just dispelled it with your last post. I KNOW YOU WERE THERE!!! That is exactly the way it was.....

Hey Andy.....I think both David and Eddie was trying to become solo stars. Try as they might everybody knew they were "The Voices".And even with the die hard Tempt fans they never forgot about the contribution those two made to that group. I agree with you, they were so natural together.

Hi Molly! There is nothing that you have to prove to anyone. This is not some contest to prove who was or wasn't with David. You & der68 been very upfront since you came to this board unlike others who play games & try to disrupt what CP has worked hard to maintain. I appreciate & accept everyone who has ever posted here. What I don't like is dishonest, bullies & evasive people who come here to simply take advantage of people to get information out of people & then disappear or s**tstir. Again, there was nor ever was a litmus test to post on this board. Peace out & have a good nite!

Andy: David & Eddie were always good friends but I'm assuming the politics at Motown made things impossible for them to get together while both of them were labelmates. Eddie did do a backup guest appearance on I Miss You on David's self-titled LP from '73. I think it would've been worthwhile to hear David & Eddie, especially during Eddie's prime, sing together.

Hello Again Common: You're giving me info. I didn't know. I thiught I had heard that Eddie always was trying to get David to sing with him, but David kept on nixing it. Can you do me a tiny favor, Please? My dictionary doesn't have "s**tstir"in it. Is that a word that is somehow related to that other word I had to look up? Thanks, AJA
