Hello davidfan,This is abe, this is tough but If you have the actor singing can you pick which of David's songs should be sung for the soundtrack by the actor.Don't you think the movie shouldn't end with his death but with people talking about how his musical legacy lives on.

LOL on a lighter note: David comes to me in dreams and tells me what he was thinking at times. and share's with me songs that he didn't get a chance to have produce. He also told me I am the only one he has spoken too in this way. ;D

Hello This is abe,can anyone fill me in on this piece of information about David, why was he given only one song to sing lead on the '82"Reunion"album, given david's valuable contributions to the group when he sang with them, was it really a "Reunion"if he wasn't allowed to play a prominent role on the"Reunion"album?

Hello this is abe,I found out that David had unrecorded songs that he wrote do you think they would have ended up on albums that he did with Eddie and David if he had lived,i also read that his manager was trying to get David Eddie and Dennis a recording deal.

Hello abe! It was said that Gamble & Huff were going to produce the Reunion LP but the deal fell through. Why was David allowed on one song on the LP(there is another song added on the CD version) is beyond me. I'm just guessing that it could because BG was executive producer on the project, that that could've been the reason why he was limited to one song.

That's a good question. I recall Tony Turner mentioning in his book that David did have some songs for the LP that he & Eddie did but the record company turned him down & wanted songs that were written by others. Who knows what might've been had David been able to record his own tunes?
