IN terms of Melvin's performances on he has done many classic songs i'd say"Power"was one of them with his bass vocals i feel he was combining the Temptations tradition of Harmony with early 80's funk.

Er hmm umm I never thought Melvin was handsome. But still he would have probably been a good catch. Well that is if he could have lost O.

You know what? i'm gonna come out with it. Here it goes........ I think the lord took Otis's son away from him and the world because he thinks Otis really needed an eye-opener about how he should see life and himself, but it just made him bitter and more angerful towards the world and more big-headed. I guess it's too bad that happened. The lord always has a plan, but I guess even his plans dont always work.......... I think the jerk deserved it though.

God's plans Always work out. Always! It's our plans that don't always work out. Bad things happen to supposedly Good people, and Bad things happen to supposedly Bad people. If God took our loved ones because of our actions Nobody would have any relatives. I can't imagine what O went through loosing a child. He probably handled it better then I would.

Molly, I agree with that assessment. Faith sometimes deals us a hard blow. I have a close family friend that lost 2 of her 6 grown children in the space of 3 yrs. I would like to think that maybe God had other plans for her children. I would like to say the same thing in O's case. I would hate to think that the sins of the father(or mother) should befall on the child.

Hello ATF. I don't think God uses death to punish any of us. I beleive Otis just like the rest of us will have to answer for any wrong he has done. I loved David Ruffin, but he was not without fault either. None of us are. My heart goes out to Otis and Jo for the loss of their son.
