LOL@(((Molly))) and (((Der68))! I do not mean to sound cruel, really I don't, but I have zero tolerance for evil and anyone who represents evil! Otis comes across as the man of the hour with power, and I cannot stand him for that!! He totally dismisses the fact that if it were not for David, Eddie, Paul and Dennis, he would have nothing!! It is heartbreaking that David, Eddie and Paul put their hearts and souls into the group but yet died with nothing or next to nothing but yet O's fat, black ass ends up with a huge pot of gold and the right to dog these men over and over again in his so called memoirs whether it be in a book, movie or articles he is interviewed in without a second thought to the many people that love these men to this very day!!! LOL! I feel you Michelle. O should have sense enough to know that people know better. If it was just one group member that he had problems with that would be different. But O has had problems with every lead singer the group has ever had. Methinks part of the Tempts problem was O and his shady ways. But O trys to paint himself and Melvin as the ones that tried to perserve the group. Everybody knows The Temps would not have been as successful as they were without David,Eddie and Paul. They could have had the same success without O. Deep down O has to know that! der you know you're wrong calling big O Greazy!!!!

I agree with you all...but I think each day is a struggle for O. Between trying to keep four other men in the group (and make them behave) and being on the road constantly. I think they tour more now than they did in the 60's. Being the 'smart' business man that he claims to be, I'm quite sure by now, he should be living his life like Smokey and Stevie Wonder (kinda laid back) who don't seem to be struggling at all. Smokey and Stevie look well rested and taken care of...they no longer have the wear and tear of the road look on them. Smokey really looks good! But good old Otis...still on the road...working like a dog. I guess if he don't work, he won't eat! ;D

ROTFL! I agree with everything said. Does O have a conscious? Yep, that's why he puts down the big 3 (David, Eddie and Paul) every chance he gets. He has to continually keep his conscious in check by speaking negatively about them! There may be a few out there that believe everything O says. However, the majority knows or has figured out the truth and O knows that! ;D When a person is insecure, they do everything they can to tear down everyone else. O is insecure. He knows he has no lead voice, maybe a background, but NO LEAD! He, to this day, envies the attention that David and Eddie received (and still receives). That man has managed to chase away just about every lead singer that was with the Temps. O should drop to his knees every chance he gets to thank the One above for sending David, Eddie and Paul his way! Without them, he wouldn't be where he is today.

Bees you're right. It has to be hard for O or any person O's age to have to tour. Livng on the road isn't easy when you're young. So it is kind of sad that a person with that type of past success is doing what he was doing 40+ years ago.

He has over 40 years of experience who cares if he has to get on stage and look silly with the 5 year olds...

Out respect for David, Eddie, and Paul he needs to work until he is 100. Heck he live for ( 1961- 1971) 10 years free that alone is a blessing. David and Eddie work to their very last days O can do the same he has never done anything else Mr. Freebie..

You know it is bad when you would rather listen to Otis sing then Dennis ... But he does do the song justice ... Even though M. Jackson wrote that song for his rat ... a RAT ended up singin' it ... lol ... ;D
