I would be interested in seeing abook about the Temptations by Dennis since he is the premier replacement Temp. I'm interested in seeing another perspective other than Otis' view and Dennis and Richard would be as close as it gets since the others are all gone.

Hello khiller I would be interested in either of those Tempts writing a book also. I heard last year that Richard Street was planning on writng a book. Don't know if its rumor or fact.

I don't know when Dennis will get to writing that book. He talked about writing one about a yr or two ago. Bees: I thought Richard had finished writing the book. The only trouble he had was finding a publisher. I wonder what the status is on that.

Hey Everybody and welcome (((khiller))): Bees and I had the opportunity to meet Dennis and talk to him last year. To Dennis' credit, he will not say anything negative about any of his "Temptation Brothers' as he calls them, including Otis... smile... Ya know the fans would like a book from Dennis' perspective but I don't foresee it in the near future anyway. *I* would like for Richard Street to publish a book because Richard has been with the Temps on and off since the very beginning. Okay, take care of yourself and WELCOME again. Peace... Ev...

Dennis ruffuses to say anything negative about Otis...if you were to ask him something about Otis...he would probably tell you something like "Otis has the prettiest tenor voice you ever want to hear. " He's just the type of person that ruffuses to say something negative...at least in public. I think it's an admirable trait. Hey yall...I'm new posting over here...been lurking for a while. ;D I agree with you, Bees. I have never heard Dennis say anything nasty about Otis, even though O tries to slip in his cheap shots about Dennis and his group every chance he gets. On the subject of the book, I would like for D to write one, but I know he probably won't. Ah well, we may have to wait for Richard Street's book instead.... TTYL!!

I don't think Dennis is going to write a book without writing about the unpleasantness of the music business, as well as the ugliness that went behind the scenes concerning the group.
Personally, I cannot see Dennis doing this, as he has always carried himself as a man of character (unlike Otis) and continues to do so!!!
However, I must admit that it would a real treat for us die hard fans, especially us younger fans who already feel cheated that we never met C5 or had the honor and privledge of seeing them perform! All we have to go on is O's book and movie, which sadly many young fans look upon the book as the Holy Bible and the movie as gospel because people in that era are afraid to speak out for fear of O's wrath, especially with him being the man with all the pull!! (Oops, vented a little did I?!)

Do you really think O would actually sincerely say something nice about one of his Tempt 'brothers'? I never expect anything more from O.
