Well I thought the tape was excellent. This was my first time seeing David giving an interview. I thought the guys looked good and sounded great. They seemed to be really good and close friends. I had one problem and that was the song My Girl. I mean if I had heard that song one more time being played on that tape. I was going to return it! The song was played like five times. Dennis Edwards: He seems like a real down to earth and cool guy. Also very grounded when it comes to the business. I think Eddie, and Especially David needed that kind of partner. He has a good head on his shoulders. And can SING! Eddie Kendrick: He appeared to be a very humbled guy, when he spoke. Funny he mentioned he didn’t know where Mr. Otis got to be the one who founded the Temptations. When Kendrick’s brought a few fellas from his group, and merged with a few fellas from Mr. Otis group. So that was kind of interesting hearing from Kendrick’s how the Temptations got started. It also was kind of funny how he was holding on Martha’s chain when he was talking to her. David Ruffin: From his interviews, at least I could tell he didn’t seem to be fond of BG. He really seemed like he wanted folks to know what he has done other than singing, for Motown. When he was talking about the time he left the Temptations, I felt that he really and I mean REALLY was hurt from his dismissal from the group. So much so, I think he didn’t want to believe he was asked to leave, and even tried to convince himself, he was not let go. I believe he never got over not being with the Temptations. Another part of the tape, when he said “no one can ever sang ‘Just My Imagination’ as good as Eddie, and if Dennis came close to singing ‘My Girl’ as good as me I would stop singing it.” I thought to myself I wish he had, so they could both stop singing it! LOL. David to me seems like a guy that talked sh*t while swallowing spit, especially to the ladies. LOL. ;D When they were standing around with Neville, he was saying not singing some verse of a song to her, and Eddie just turned his head away, and looked into the camera like—look at this sh*t, David needs to stop. LOL! Another funny part was when David did the Statue of a fool—LOLOL! That is all I can say about that, I just wish they had showed his face while he was doing it. Another scene, when Mary was talking about how it was backstage, she said how the ladies were all over David, and that he took all of them, and then she said naw just kidding. Now ya’ll know that is the truth. LOL. He took every last one of them except QNDF. jr.: He sounds pretty good. They only showed him for a hot second. Mone`: They showed her singing, but you couldn’t hear her singing. Well that is all for now, I know I am messing something else, so I probably will be back with more.

I loved Eddie's interviews. That is the most candid I had seen him in a interview. I loved it when he called Otis and Melvin the "back ground" singers. David's interview I loved. He looked real good. I liked the part where he said one day he would tell his story about leaving the Tempts. Mary Wilson ain't never lied David had them lined up,I mean lined up! Everybody wanted David Rufin and Eddie Kendrick.I don't think that ever changed even after the Tempts. I did not think Jr. was sonding good. Not singing David Ruffin. Forget it. He sounds better singing a different style, but He ain't no Davd Ruffin.

I'm glad that Mary & Martha had some glowing words for our guys but I was a little put off with Mary getting 'Supremish' during that segment with Arthel Neville. I'm like, look this about David & Eddie, ahite?? LOL!! Hell, Martha was just smart enough to just talk! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Well, well another long speech.. did anyone tell you to give us a recap of the tape NO!!! Like usual you do what you want to do you remind me of someone one of the members of the board. Always messing up!!!!
Just kidding Joy you can be our little movie critic anytime.. Btw, I have a couple moves I want you to look at tell me your views, about the actors, dogs, cats, and rats were saying...
On to the observation,...The first thing I noticed was the height of the gentlemen OMG they were tall and good looking. David had those skinny toothpick legs. Eddie look like a little boy. When I first saw him, I thought he was 15 years old after careful research the man was older than David and Dennis.
I thought David was humble explaining the beginnings of his career, people taking other people places in the group, and the lyrics that capture the spirit of music. David gave you a sense of what it was for him being in the biggest group in the world. David took responsibilities for the outcome of his life by explaining when he hears other people sings ‘My Girl” that is the biggest flattery to him. Like always, David is a wonderful entertainer giving the fans what they want.
All three gentlemen display loyalty for each other. Eddie carries on his missing brother’s task and when Eddie could now long continued Dennis was there to wrap things up. The sad part is David was going to give us his views about the Motown/temptation but the lord took him home. Like so many fans, I wish David got the opportunity to share his experienced I know David will have us laughing through out the book.
I think David is part of all of us because each one of us can grab a part of his life and apply to ours.
Joy that is the difference between my relationship with David and yours, I can count on David and you little sis is a fly in the wind always running your away.
Eddie Kendick
I am soooo happy he clear the inception of tempts up he told us how it all start. I heard a lot of reports how Eddie was shy and shunned away from the spotlight. I am grateful for Eddie to be a part of this brotherly celebration it shows his true character. If you are listening Eddie thanks from your fans will never forget you.
Dennis
I love him because he told the story how David would come to the concerts and grab the mike from him. He did not have a problem with David doing that and by the loyalty of Eddie and Paul they did not have problem either. The only one had problem with this was 2 cents back up singer what is his name. (JOY)
At the end when David pulls Eddie to him for a hug, that when you can see the love. He hugs the one who has been there for him not judging but being there for him. You also sense the roads David and Eddie traveled to get where they are at 10999 Heaven Blvd. Sweat Jesus, Sweat Jesus…
OMG I am crying….
