Board,
You know David's heart when it comes to his relationship with Eddie.
Question: we know David made the transition first but what if the shoe was on the other foot. Eddie left first and David was here to dealt with the pain.
How would David react in losing Eddie? His brother. His best friend.

I've discussed this many times with friends. We've come to the conclusion that things had to happen the way they did. I don't think Ruff would have held on two seconds had Ed gone first. It reminds me of two of my coworkers ...both just turned 40. They were extremely close. We came to work one morning and heard one of them had a heart attack the night before. Before the day was over, the other friend had a heart attack too. It upset him just that much. To me Ed and Ruff were like a coin...same coin...different 'face.'

I agree with Bees. I don't think Ruffin could have taken it. I don't think he was equipped to handle loosing his friend. I had a discussion about Jimmy and Ruffin same subject. I don't think Ruffin could have buried Jimmy either. I remember a conversation I had with him months after Tammi's death. He didn't handle loosing her well at all. He spoke of her the last time I saw him in Philly. I dom't think he ever got over her death.
