Has the group ever discussed in interviews what album they found most challenging and time consuming to make?

I presume you are talking about the C5. I would think the most challenging LP to make would be In A Mellow Mood. The LP came at time where the group was becoming the premiere R&B/Soul giants and releasing this record, could have hurt their fanbase. It would be interesting to find out how well this record did back in the day. If you noticed, this LP was released the same year that 'With A Lot O' Soul' was released. I guess Motown called themselves hitting two birds with one stone.

Thanks Common,I kinda figured that the Mellow Mood album would be.picking songs that were suited for their voices is a challenge..one that they pulled off perfectly.plus taking a chance from the norm in doing a standards album one that is highly regarded even to this day. Motown knocked it out the box when they released both of those albums in the same year.
