NDF- Have you heard of the rap group Cypress Hill? They had a rap song that sampled Gene Chandler's Duke Of Earl. I can't remember the title of the song but I think it was called Hand On The Pump or something like that. I know it came out around '91 or 92. CP- Oh my! That's the Duke?? YIKES!!!

New, that was in the early 70's...and that's not a skull cap. That's a cap with a lil ball on the top. Marge, Rainbow was the cut, wasn't it? What Now? Here is more info on The Duke: www.allmusicguide.comkey in Gene Chandler

NDF is you can pick up PBS stations, the stations are doing Doo Whop sounds. Usually at night and on weekends they do some of these specials. Check your TV Guide listings, and on the Doo Whop shows you can see Gene Chandler, THE DUKE OF EARL, along with some of the early greats of Doo Whop...

CP, David could have wore that outfit to the Soul Train instead what he wore on that show.
