Molly, I'm loving the pics too. When I went to the museum, I didn't see those pics that you posted. They must've changed around the museum a bit. I wish I saw those!  I'm glad you like them. They must have changed some things over the years. I had some of BG's Apt{love nest} I haven't found them yet. I especially like the ones of the "snake pit". You know you're looking at history. All the greats recorded there. |

I'm glad you like them. They must have changed some things over the years. I had some of BG's Apt{love nest} I haven't found them yet. I especially like the ones of the "snake pit". You know you're looking at history. All the greats recorded there. You know we weren't allowed to take pics of the first floor where all the memorabila is located. I took pics of the snake pit but I can't remember if we were allowed to take pics of BG's crib. I guess things did change a bit from the time you went. Darn. |

I guess they have beefed up security since I was there. We were able to take pictures of everything. When I find the pictures of BG's apt. I will post them and make you copies to keep.

HITSVILLE USA: THE RECORDING HOME OF THE TEMPTATIONS, LITTLE STEVIE WONDER, MARVIN GAYE, MARTHA REEVES AND THE VANDELAS, THE SUPREMES, THE MIRACLES,THE COUNTOURS, JACKSON 5, DAVID RUFFIN, JERMAIN JACKSON, DeBARGE, AND MAY OTHERS ... Man would I have loved to be alive in 1959 when motown first started ... especialy in 1961 when they got the tempts ... and especialy in 1964 & up when motown was a symonononononon (Same thing as) for success! ;D

I was allowed to take photos of the snake pit, outside and in the hallway, but not upstairs or in Mr. Gordy's old apartment. The gift shoppe has many of the books written about Motown and specific groups/individuals, as well as t-shirts, calendars, etc...

Hi Everybody,
I like the pictures of Hitsville. I haven't been there in about a year. I think I'll go down there one day this week and try to take some more pictures. I'm going to visit David's resting place. I would like to visit Paul's resting place. Do anyone know where it is?
