Great 80's Pics Common Back in the day I love me some Prince, everything in my room was purple from the sheets to the rugs. I saw Purple Rain 5 times in one day{Please don't tell my mom, I was suppose to be in school}. And when Prince came to my city, OMG I had the nerve to camp out side the hotel little did I know Prince left the hotel day early. I was mad at Prince for two reason one My Mother put down the law on me with the belt and second why did he leave the hotel with out telling me darn!! LOL! Man, there seems to be a lot of Prince fans on this board. Well, Queen, it's never too late to meet your 'Prince'. I think he's still touring the country. You may want to catch him! ;D ;D ;D

He did have a "girlie" image. But Lawd!! Rick James image! Lawd have mercy!!! Which turned out to be his real "Lifestyle". I was at a Rick James concert once in Roanoke Va. This cat lit a joint on stage. But I always like "Mr.Super Freak" and his songs with Tina Marie. Especially Fire and Desire. Molly, Rick James is a scream! ;D ;D I always liked him because he struck me as a man's man plus he never took himself too seriously. ;D ;D He seems to be alot of fun(well, too much fun! ;D ) I saw Rick in concert in '83 & I remember him 'lighting it up'. LOL! That man was crazy! LOL!

mercury.walagata.com/w/starz4ever/CarlC.jpg[/img]Mr. Bad Mama Jama himself. He said that ((((David)))) helped get him a deal back in the early 70s. As result, he had a huge hit with 'Everlasting Love'. BTW, if you hear David's version, you'd hear some similarities. ;D ;D ;D

You know I was never a fan of Prince. He struck me as real girlie like. LOL! I was more into Rick James. ;D ;D ;D Prince struck me as weirdo with a bizarre fetish for high heel shoes. I figured who wants a guy who's heels is higher than mine? LOL! Well hell...Rick James looked like a big old ugly girl to me! He wasn't the most macho man...with all those braids and wigs and strange clothes he wore. At least Prince Rogers was easy on the eyes! ;D Speaking of eyes...Prince has the most captivating eyes I have ever seen! I would hate to be looking at him in person...there's no telling what Prince would seduce you into without even opening his mouth! Lawd! ;D ;D

I wasn't that familar with Carl Carlton's music other than Bad Mama Jama...I wasn't impressed in the least. I thought Mama Jama was the only thing he ever recorded.
