This is a beautiful tribute. (((Common)))) (((Rick James))))) would be very proud of this! Thank you too (((Bees)))) he was a pretty little baby. I read somewhere that he was very close to his mama. I know he often spoke of her and I think she died when he was in jail and Rick never quite got over that. What we must remember as fans, that at the end of the day the artists and entertainers are just like me and you. They are people first and foremost and they got to leave here (this life) just like me and you. May God Rest My Baby's Soul See you later Baby.... I'm glad that everyone liked the tribute. Thank you all for the kind words. It is truly appreciated. I have to thank Molly & Bees for helping me out in posting the pictures. Again, I appreciated. Now, I need to get myself outta of the shock that I'm still in. I keep thinking this whole thing is a cruel joke by Rick. I keep hoping someone will say, "hey, Rick was just messin wit yall. He's still alive". But unfortunately, I guess it's all too real. *sigh*  |

Thanx Molly! I saw a clip on BET last nite. Jan and Nona Gaye were shown...it seemed they really took it hard...especially Nona! |

I knew they would have something on it,but I was working and forgot all about it. From the sound of the articles it sounded a little like Ruffin's funeral. LOL! You know I know a couple of people that were there  . I guess they will share the experience with me,when they get back from LA. |

It sounded a lot like Ruff's funeral...Farrakan...fans dressed up...Stevie.  The similarities between the two is eerie...even tho I never spoke of Rick and Ruff in the same breath. I bet your peepas will have some stories to tell! |

Ya know what it is eerie ((((Bees and Molly))). Even the comments from Rick James' Fans -- You better not disprespect him! I posted some comments of his fans to the HATERS that TRIED to disrespect his memory. The similarity is amazing! Go to the Palace's General Board and go to the Palace's Classix Board.
Baby I'm a tell ya, you thank Ruff's fans is RUFF -- RICK JAMES FANS IS A BIZNITCH! LOL! Just like Ruff's fans don't take to mess about him/his memory -- RICK'S DON'T EITHER on the fa real tip! It is so strange, that even their fans are alike! I LOVED BOTH OF THEM! I printed the pictures for my kid(s) on the color printer here at work. I see Berry Gordy was there. whew! sigh.......
