KENDRICK, JOHNIE "PRINCE", After 90 years of a fulfilling life, Johnie "Prince" Kendrick quietly escaped to his Heavenly Home on June 28, 2004. Funeral Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Ensley on Saturday, July 3, 2004 at 11:00 AM followed by interment at Elmwood. Survivors include his devoted wife of 68 years, Lee Bell Kendrick; sons, Robert and Charles (Arleita), Clarence (Lois) and daughter, Patricia Simpson (Herman); 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. His son, Eddie Kendrick and grandson, Robert "Bob" Kendrick preceded him in death. Roberts Funeral Home directing.
