Stating the Fact about the racial climate in GA in the 70's is not predjudice. It's a historical fact! Methinks that "someone's" feelings got hurt because "her" love story was commented on. Day in, Day out, comments are made and conclusions are drawn about 14 year old "media qoutes" over there. But when we comment and draw conclusions on "direct" qoutes ,we "need a body to chew on" . Most of our suspicions of others are aroused by our knowledge of ourselves.

If you are gonna post on a public messsage board, it's usually for the purpose of getting attention and to get a response. So I don't see what she's complaining about. They can comment about everything that is said over here but once we start commenting, then it's the usual spiel about being negative and on and on and on. Gimme a break! "Hi Pot, Hi Kettle"!

How what I said is being miscontrued as predjudice is mind boggling to me. It was "taboo" in Georgia in the 70's to be a part of a inter-racial couple. In the entertainment industry is was not. People did not raise an eyebrow when they saw a "mixed" couple. However this was not true outside of the industry. Hell! both David and I were black, and we encountered predjudice in Georgia,South Carolina and Tennessee. So to suggest that IT didn't exist is foolish and a lie. I think also it's that her "love' story was commented on that's got her in a uproar. IF you post a story that indicates you were easy why get upset when someone points it out? Why not be proud of it. . But it is what it is! Groupies don't always stand at the back stage door, they also frequent clubs, sit through multiple shows, and sleep with the "celebrity" once they get his/her attention.Whether they stand at the stage door,or sit at the same table night after night, doesn't change what they are. They all do the same thing, with the the same thing in mind, and end up with the same result. ((SL)) looks like by now they would want a "new body" to chew on. They have about chewed DS up!!!!

We're referred to as the "rat pack" because we speak on HER written words. But what does she call it when post and posters from the Palace are openly discussed??? OR when statements whose idenities she does not know is stated attributed to a person whom she does not know ie; 2. When is the last time you saw David Ruffin alive?
Standing in line at the bank, Idiot!
WELL NOW TRISH, THIS IS A HUGE STATEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It's only huge if you Actually know who posted it!!!!!

That love story is quite similar to that scene from oatass' movie. The scene where DER is singing in the lounge with EJK and starts flirting with the overly done up woman with the bouffant hairdo.
I think I'll update the book of David sometime this week.
