because it is fun ;D! Jody comes to Palace to disrespect all of us not the ones who knew DER. The idiot is saying to the members of the Palace FUCK you I am going to tell you how you should act. This is not 1960, this is 2008 when Jody brings her trifling ass over here we are going to cuss her OUT!! Remember her comments about the FLAG?
Once again it is fun to cuss at Jody! Power naw I would not say that however, what I would say it is enjoyment or entertainment. We knew the Idiot was crazy when she open her mouth about her relationship with DER. She was in love with the man. DER wanted some booty.
We tried that several times to put her on "IGNORE" but, the IDIOT continues to talk trash to us. We have done all the things you have suggested in your comments but, it has not work. The woman loves for us to cuss her out plain and simple! And we are going to do cuss at her everytime she opens the door to the palace.

Ms. Molly can you please give us a status of what is going on with the Democratic race? I heard on the news the governor is campaigning for Hilliary. If that is so is true, who is campaigning for Obama in your state? Rendell the governor has endorced Hillary , and the Black mayor in Philly plus a few other local officials. She's expected to win the state. But Pittsburgh and Philly have a lot of delegates and Obama will probably win those. He will still be ahead in Delegates even if she wins the state, and that's what will determine the nomination. I hope Obama picks up some support in the state. He hasn't been here yet,I can't wait. The Governor and The mayor have endorsed Hillary dog!! Is the black community endorsing her as well?

Okay, Queenie, I get it. It's a form of entertainment to cuss out Jody, I can understand that lol. But sometimes it feels like yall are REALLY upset by her coming over here, and that I can't understand. But, to each his own, I guess. I just couldn't hold my tongue on this Jody topic any longer. It is still ridiculous to me to be fighting over a dead man. That's all I really wanted to say.
Okay, go back to talking about Obama.....

Just to put my 2 cents and put a lid on this subject, I agree with you that it is ridiculous to fight over a dead man. However, alot of this mess got started when jody's sidekick (who's name is in the archives on this board) was "investigating" David's last days on earth. Because Molly, Davey & Reggie refuse to cooperate, we had to endure not only jody's nonsense but her sidekick's as well. It's stupid but it's more complicated than just fighting over DR's dead body. It's about validation but not for Davey or Molly. They really could care less about it. I just think that once jody comes over and starts with her nonsense, her partner is never far behind. And then all that crap gets started all over again, which we try hard to avoid. Anyways, that's my 2 pennies. Back to Bama man. LOL! ;D ;D

I just finished watching the speech New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson made when he endorsed Barak Obama. I'm hoping now that Obama will pick up more Hispanic votes. It was a good speech and it was entertaining.

Lookie here I found her story that she wrote in her very own words..since she wants people to witness something..witness this her story and that in itself was admittance to being a quick lay/stalker bitch FOR THE LOVE OF DAVID, A TEMPTATION TO HARD TO RESIST...Property of Jody Cox Puckett-Contact me on the DRU board for permission to use any part of...
Ramona asked, you wanna go see David Ruffin at Scarlett O'Hara's? He is suppose to be performing in about two weeks. Who is David Ruffin I ask? She replied, David was the lead singer with the Temptations. Oh, I replied sheepishly. I knew this magnificent lead voice of the Temptations, but all of a sudden, I felt very not so hip not knowing the name of David Ruffin. In particular since I had just retired from the music industry, where I had been singing in all kinds of clubs and supper clubs for many years. I quickly found that wonderful form of self expression fly out the window when I developed a serious throat problem, which left me with chronic laryngitis.Public Relations, or a classy form of hawking for customers in Underground Atlanta in late 1977 and early 1978 for a couple of Greek restaurants gave me the opportunity to stay close to friends as well as musicians and vocalist that were appearing in the cluster of clubs and restaurants in the then diminishing Underground Atlanta. (It has since been revised)It was on One of those slow evenings, April 25, 1978, the restaurants closed early, and I walked through Underground Atlanta toward my car. As I came close to the entrance to Scarlett O'Hara's, I saw the marquis advertising David Ruffin. I thought, alot of things can happen in two weeks. I was reminded of the conversation with Ramona two weeks prior. Ramona is an East Indian girl, and one of my best friends. She had during that two weeks, had to move to Beverly Hills, California to be with her Mother. Our plans to see David Ruffin together had been foiled, but, I'll go by myself I thought. I looked at my watch, good, the first show is just starting. Marvin and Judy Addelman, the owners, always welcomed guest at the front door no matter the weather, and Scott would seat you at your table. We all exchanged hello's, Scott sat me at the table in front of the intimate stage. I heard a fabulous band, and an incredibly powerful voice. Arranging my coat and bag, I turned and stared into the eyes of the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. It sounded crazy then, and it still does 27 + years later. It is not suppose to happen this way I thought.I know nothing about this man, but I had to find out what he was all about. The crowd became a bit unruly as he broke into MY GIRL. Women reached to touch the 6ft 3in thin frame. Many times through the years I would hear the screams of DAVID, DAVID, DAVID, from ladies of all sizes and races, just as I had that night back in 1978 at the legendary Scarlett O'Hara's in Atlanta, Ga.The show was over, and I just sat there. I waited for the second show, watching the house band and vocalist. This ritual went on through almost the entire week, with Scott saving that same chair for me every evening. Yes, I was hooked! I rushed through dinner hour and show-times at the restaurant so I could catch most of the first show and all of the second show. By Thursday evening, I became a bit panicky. He smiles and looks at me all through the shows, but he has not even come out of his dressing room any night, much less to make a move to talk to me. OH WELL I sighed, Maybe I am not his type. Can't make someone want to be with you I surmised! The first show was over, and and the room began to empty. I could stay for the second show since I was an employee of Underground. The waitresses cleaned for the second show, People began to pour in. I watched lovers on the dance floor as they danced to the house band during intermission. I talked to a few friends who came by my table, excused myself to the ladies room, primped a bit and came back to my table. That's when I felt someone slip into the chair next to me. I turned to see the man with the glorious eyes behind the frames staring at me. Hi, I'm David, I swallowed hard, Hello, I'm Jody. We spent the rest of that week together, and the rest is a beautiful dream and a terrible nightmare! The week's engagement was over, and sadly, I watched David leave for another gig in Macon, Ga.David called me every day from Macon, Ga. He was performing at Flaming Sally's the week after Scarlett O'hara's. Thursday evening he called and ask that I drive to Macon when I got off work. I told him OK, and Mona, a friend, was wanting to see Horace, so she would drive down with me. Horace Chisholm was David's manager at the time.I took off work Friday and off we went. We arrived in Macon around 3PM. Checked into the Holiday Inn, and my heart was beating so hard in the elevator, I thought surly everyone could hear it's every pound. Knocking on David's door, I blushed like a little girl with anticipation. We had a few minutes together before we dressed and went to dinner and to Flaming Sally's for the show...UNTIL ANOTHER TOMORROW... @the whole story
