I know it was discused when Eddie went solo David support him by attending his shows.
Question: Once David went solo in 1968, did any of the Tempts members supported his solo career?
By attending his shows..

Hey New! I wouldn't think so. I have never seen it in print or even heard this, but I don't think they{Tempts} were trying to support David. Eddie and David were friends. I have never heard David refer to any of the other C5 as friends.

I think David touched on this in the Street Gold video. He said that he did go to see Otis nem show when he had a chance but they would never go to see him & Eddie. From David's expression, he seemed quite hurt by that. As for his earlier years, I highly doubt that the other Tempts supported his shows. It seemed like Eddie, David & even Paul, being they were already out the group, supported each other. Interesting!

thanks Molly and Common for your response...
I knew lapDog and O were not going to his David's Shows I was referring to Eddie and Paul
I think David had a hit out in 1968 did Eddie and Paul go to any of his road shows. I know Eddie and Paul were still in the Tempts group was it complicate for them to go to David's road shows.

Abe as you know Ruffin will always be remembered for "My Girl". But he told me he didn't think it would be a Hit when he recorded it. He was excited that Smokey wrote that song for his voice, but he never thought it would blow up like it did. :DI wish he knew there is a new generation singing and loving his "My Girl"
