This is the wonder thread. Anything that you have ever wondered about the classic tempts. lets see what we come up with.Doesnt matter at all what you wonder about. I will start off...while reading Otis's Book. he says that once when they were on tour in Bermuda, they stayed in a house or hotel (I forgot)and Mel and he shared a room, Eddie and David shared a room, and Paul had his own room. and he said that one night there was commotion and David at the end of his bed , telling eddie something that he (ed) did not like, and eddie went to reach for David in anger and Otis held him back ,and paul held David back.anyway later the Government of the country banned them from Bermuda. I wonder...what the heck was David telling eddie, that pissed him off LMAO!!!. I remember reading that, I laughed my off,i was like banned? LLOLOLOL. Feel free to write anything that you wonder about ,all in fun.

Even though I wasn't even born yet, a lot of what O's book says about those times is questionable to me. I guess since I saw the interview of Eddie and Dennis on BET, I just raise an eyebrow to a lot of his claims. I mean think about it, by all accounts, Eddie hated conflict and went out of his way to avoid it, not further it. And of all people, DAVID!!!! Do you really think Eddie would've charged David like that? I believe he also claimed in that book that Eddie threatened Mel with a sharp object (he doesn't know what the sharp object was but he knew it was sharp). I mean really, do ya'll really think that the guys got into it that bad? I know they argued but O makes it seem like they almost killed each other at times (and it seems that he has a lot to say about Eddie). As for what I wonder, I wonder how the guys dealt with the racial tensions and if they ever experienced them in their travels as a group.

Yes I do Ceaz! Otis is probably lying about the intended target...it was probably him. ;D I believe they fought like dogs in the street. I know Ruffin would sooner cuss you out than speak to you...but he really meant no harm. One minute telling you off the next minute he's your best friend...man had amnesia sometimes. A person would still be mad and he would be grinning his ass off. I would rather tangle with the devil himself than tangle with Eddie...he could be mean as hell when he wanted to. Don't let that smile fool you. All of them had crazy personalities. Otis was the most aloof one...walking around like he was God himself...thinking he was way more than he was/is. They were all volatile...just listen to them sing.

I certainly donot believe everything that Otis has written in his book...or atleast i take it with a grain of salt. However I do believe that they fought,I personally can never speak upon the degree in which they fought, but I do believe they fought. I like Bees statement where she says "Otis is probably lying about the intended target...it was probably him." lol who knows, with Otis you just never know. His story changes as much as a person changes cloths. "And you mean to tell me that Paul had his own room yet Holy O was bitchin about Ruffin only wanting to ride in his own limo that HE paid for?"VERy,very good question Common.Otis could never seem to get off of that ,even 20-40 sum odd years later. The fact that David Ruffin a grown ass, celebrity saw fit to have his own transportation, instead of being cramped up in one vehicle with 5 other above 6ft tall men. darn it!! "yall could have rode with him if yall wanted to" Otis!.

"As for what I wonder, I wonder how the guys dealt with the racial tensions and if they ever experienced them in their travels as a group. "Good question Ceaz. Again Otis did address the fact that they did infact meet up with racism.Which is obvious though, in those times, and the many diff places that they traveled.I guess they dealt with it the only way they could ,just ignore and perform.
