Hi NDF: I can't answer most of your questions. Halle Berry was not a member of the Temps. But, I last saw Otis' lineup about 5 years ago and walked out. It was nothing, nothing at all like the original lineup or even like some later ones. Anyone with a sense of the Temptations would realize that they have paid money to see imposters singing. Besides, the smooth, cool moves are long gone. The last time anyone saw the class of the Temptations was the last time David Ruffin took the stage. He alone would put on a better show that the current act. Give him a supporting cast, and you would have a show you'd never forget. That' my opinion. That's my belief.

LOL!LOL! New I think Berry and Otis are welcome in Detroit LOL!LOL! But David Rufin "Was" Detroit! He used to call himself the "Mayor". Florence Ballard and Patti LaBelle were hooked with O for a minute. David and Tammi's love affair was far more publicized then a lot of others. But Smokey and Ms. Ross was kicking it for a minute too. My Girl blew up! I mean eveybody was loving Ruffin sanging that song. I guess I would have had any of the Tempts in my home. I just probably wouldn't have fed Otis. LOL!LOL! I saw O's Tempts once. I was in Atlantic City and so were they. Ali Ollie was lead then. I like Ali's voice but the show was Very disappointing to me. Maybe because I had seen the Classic 5,and their was no comparison!

Question 3 Knowing what you know about Motown, BG and Otis are any of these people welcome in Detroit? Queston 4 Finally board, will anyone goes see the current Tempt (Otis's group) in concert. 1)I can't answer what the scenery was like in '61. Wasn't even a twinkling in my mom's eye yet! I read that when My Girl hit number one, David sat in the Motown lobby & cried. This might've been talked about in O's book. I could be wrong. I would've brought him David, Eddie, Melvin & Paul home! I think my grandma would've gotten a kick outta David. ;D Now, you ain't even got to ask me which Tempt wouldn't even be let in the front door! 2) Hmmmmm, well, according to Tony Turner, he said Motown was one big bed! LOL! Marvin was married to BG's sister, Anna. BG's other sis, Gwen, was married to Harvey Fuqua, who from the Moonglows & was a writer/producer at Motown. Johnny Bristol, who was a co-writer/producer with Harvey, was married to BG's niece, Iris Gordy. Later on, Jermaine Jackson was married to BG's daughter, Hazel. With me so far? *Wanda Rogers from the Marvelettes was married to Bobby Rogers from the Miracles. Don't forget Smokey & Claudette Robinson, who ironically, is Bobby Rogers from the Miracles' cousin!!! *Mary Wilson & Florence Ballard once dated two members of the Tops. Mary also said in her book that she dated Eddie Kendricks. And don't forget Eddie dated Diane Ross. *Syreeta was married to Stevie Wonder for three years. And that's all I can think of right now. LOL! 3) I'm sure BG is welcomed in Detroit. O, too. Though, if you want accuracy, it would be helpful if someone who was from Detroit, could answer it this. 4) No. I have no interest in O's current lineup.
