Otis said in his autobiography that David's vocal skills are the ones that he respects the most.Do you fans think that reflects that he's aware that he'll never have another replacement like David?

Speaking of the mini-series How do you fans feel about the movie with a similar theme the Five Heartbeats? How do you think David might have felt about that movie?I read that the"Eddie King"character was partially based on david.Isn't the song"Nights Like this"from the soundtrack to that movie inspired by"I Wish it Would Rain"?

Abe, Otis is well aware that David could not be replaced. He has said it many times...on tv and in print! He knows it...he knows they had the magic...and could never be duplicated.

Abe I think the Eddie character was very much like David Ruffin. That's one of the reasons I liked that movie so much. I think that actor's name is Eddie Wright. I also feel he would have also portrayed David well in O's mini-series.

I had heard that Townsend had wanted to do that story based on The Temptations, but BG said NO.

I say no David Ruffin movie would be complete without reference s to "My Whole World Ended(The Moment you left me)and"Walk Away from Love"?Would you agree that David"s voice soimetimes had a poignant anguish a and he always put drama in it those things showed his talent."I"m twenty-nine years old yet i have a tremendous appreciation for Classic R&b.

i SAY ONE SCENE N THE MOVIE THAT WAS SAD WAS WHEN OTIS AND MELVIN WERE IN THEIR HOTEL ROOM AND OTIS RECEIVES A PHONE CALL INFORMING HIM THAT HIS SON HAS DIED.AND HE SAID"i CAN DEAL WITH THIS"DON'T YOU THINK THAT SCENE WAS A TEARJERKER.

Hello Do you think if David were alive to see the mini-series he might try and sue Otis at the same time how do you think he would feel about Leon's performance?

Abe I don't know if O would have portrayed David in that light had he been alive. He probably would have skimmed over a lot of personal incidents and concentrated on his interaction with the gorup.
