What I don't understand is why is it necessary to "diffuse" anything? If the performance wasn't up to snuff, then that's life! Things will eventually come to wash anyway so what's the point in hiding it? Man, it's just plain sad to see grown folk act that way over a bunch of entertainers!

Hello Board. Common I totally agree with you. If people that paid their money to see a show and felt it was less than they expected. Why can't they voice their opinion's?? These "Otis" fans are Ignant!!!!! It is what it is!!!!!!

Okay ya'all. One of Otis' fans sees that it is SENSELESS to KEEP WRITING DISSERTATIONS defending O and his Temps. The more dissertations they wrote - the worse it got. Now today (AFTER the damage is done) one of his fans puts this.. --------------------------------------------------------- Ronna 1724 11-05-2003 01:19 PM ET (US) CHRIS...thanks for sharing your experience with us... I'm sorry it wasn't better for you and others who shared your feeling... I hope you have a more pleasant experience (if) there is a next time for you.... Just one thing...because someone says they actually enjoyed a concert doesn't mean they are lying... but if that what you got out of it......ok ) It's a big TEMPTATIONS world out there...and there's room for everyone... Thanks again! ___________________ Go back and read 'Chris' and 'Outrageous' posts and you will see that at first Chris was only expressing her view of the show. It was not until Miss KNOW EVERYTHING-EVERYBODY (somebody else called her a 'WANNA B - but ya'all did not hear it from me tee hee hee hahahahahA! cos I'm not one to gossip! LOL!) posted and outrageous told chris to put it at the concert review board -- then all of O's followers 'Winds" called them something else -- but I digress. tahahHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! THAT IS WHEN THE TROUBLE STARTED - okay... Go back and read it for yourself. That's why I tried to copy as much of this as I could to the Palace because I knew either it was going to be deleted and folks would say they did not say this and that or post this and that but this time (((Shirelle)))) (((Winds))) and (((Outrageous))) & (((Chris))) & (((Ruth)))) NICELY toe them all another A__ HOLE! Especially U KNOW WHO! They can't do nuthin BUT BE NICE -- NOW!- AFTER THE FACT! WHAT CHOICE DO THEY HAVE - THEY GOT TO BE NICE NOW! B'COS THE COVERS ARE OFF ALL OF THEM. THANK GOODNESS IT WASN'T NONE OF US - THEY THOUGHT IT WAS JUST US - and NOW ERBODY COMIN OUT ON THEM NOT JUST OTIS BUT HIS SO-CALLED FANS! GOOD!

Hey (((Molly)))... Yes.... CP was kind enough to put it there.... sigh....... I know that it is not about how good or bad the show was. One lady brought the whole thing home when she said "It's not that people don't love the Temps, it's just that some of us did not like this performance and we have a right to express that" (or something to that affect). This is what it was about. Otis' fans do not like for anyone to disagree with them -- it's that simple. I stopped supporting Otis' lineup a long time ago because of this. I stopped because of too much outside interference from his fans. It's like a certain set of fans can say and do anything they want and the minute you do not agree with them - then you are defamed, demeaned ostracized (sp?) etc. etc. what not. THis is what this is about. It's about the CONTROL and DISRESPECT THAT OTIS HAS ALLOWED SOME OF HIS FANS TO GIVE TO HIS OTHER FANS - WHOM ALSO SPEND MONEY TO SEE CONCERTS and BUY CD'S. THis is what this is about. Any entertainer can have an 'off' night because they are human and they have other lives besides being entertainers -- but when someone expresses the fact that they did not like this show or they don't like this particular lineup - it's as if these people are ready to beat you down! I'm serious.. But I'll tell you this... Any two-time you got to keep talking about 'sold out venues and cheers and blah blah blah' it's something wrong because one thing about this life -- you ain't got to say anything - WHATEVER YOU ARE ABOUT, EVENTUALLY IT WILL SHOW... PERIOD!... Ahite Peace! I'm out...

Hi Evita: Sorry but I forgot to post a reply to your daughters comments. Otis goes through the motions and not too well. The classic lineup did much more than that. Sure the money was a big part, but I'm sure the classic guys ,Otis excepted, were driven deep down inside to be the best, not the best they could possibly be, but the absolute best, absolutely. That drive, talent, and desire never was there with Otis, except when it came to protecting his own "oatass".

LOL!LOL!LL! Andy you are so right. Otis aka Oatass was missing more then drive. Try TALENT. He had the absolute least amount of talent then any of the classic five. Lets tell the Whole truth. He has been the least talented of any of the line ups.And you know he has to know that. Andy you know Common is gong to catch us talking about Big O again. :DLOL!LOL!
