This CD is out today. Of course, the songs on this CD most of us probably have already but I'll probably pick it up for the pics. I just love pics!

Hi Common: Plenty of warm air here in Miami-about 78 degrees. Not bad for January.

Common - I have my copy of the Temptations Love Songs.
While reading the jacket, I noticed a little discoveries...and listening to the CD
The Girl is Alright With Me.. I did not know Eddie Kendricks was one of the producer..um I guess O left that out..
Since I Lost My Baby.. the alternative version.. David brings another side to this song.. Soulful song.. not the upbeat you usually hear.. David goes to church on this one..Makes the fan understand he love for his baby..I am trying to picture David sing this song giving his pain of losing baby to the audience. I love it...
Of course My Baby the song is timeless..Everytime I hear this song I just love it..
Two Sides to Love.. What can I say Eddie being Eddie brings his sweet harmony...
You are My Everything.. I love this song.. I like Eddie and David trading leads..
Song For You.. Dennis deserved his spot at HDF.. He shows that he can blow just like David, Paul, and Eddie.
One thing I did not like about this CD is Paul's smooth tenor voice is not capture on any of love songs. His contributions were over look let just pray if Motown comes out with Easter volume they can find a song Paul leads.

Hey NDF! Thanks alot for giving us some insight on the tracks from the CD. I had no idea that Eddie co-produced The Girl's Alright With Me. That's shocking considering that Motown didn't allow their artists to produce. That's interesting!!! Since I Lost My Baby- I would love to hear the alternative version to this. It looks like the arrangement of this song is slightly diffferent. I can't wait to hear it. Two Sides To Love- I'm not too fond of this Eddie lead. I don't know why. I do love "Save My Love For A Rainy Day". Both of these songs are off the With A Whole Lot of Soul LP. You're My Everything- Nothing more needs to be said. This is one of my favorite Eddie leads w/ David interjecting on the bridge & towards the end of the song. You can hear the musical bond establishing between David & Eddie. I can listen to this song over & over again. No Paul songs?? That sucks! They could've at least included 'Little Green Apples'. That would've fit perfectly into the theme of the CD. Now I can't wait to get it!!!!

Hello Common: "Since" is one of my all time favorites. That is why I like the Street Gold tape so much. But you are right about Paul. Even "I Want a Love I Can See" might qualify. So too, " Don't Look Back' esp. the long version like on the Live album from London.

This is abe again,"Two sides to Love"is a smooth slow jam if there were a movie set in the late 60's where the Dj is playing 45's on a KLH stereo doesn't that sound like a song the partygoers might dance to?
