Hey board
Do you think all 200 of the tempts members will come out with books, and interviews, and stories to tell, once Mr. Otis is gone? What else do you think the hold up is? No member has told a story or put a book out yet? Does Mr. Otis have it going on like that, are the members or use to be members that scared of Mr. Otis? What gives. What do you guys think.

Here is my theory on the subject,
After the original members (David, Eddie and Paul) left and O pointed himself as founder of the group, I think he made each new member sign a contractual agreement not to write a book. I can’t imagine an ex tempt not cashing in telling his side of the story without a legal clause in the contract.
Otis wants the public the group is in unity no fights and qualms amongst it members the group is stronger than ever.
Once Otis makes the transition, I think every Tom, Dick and Harry will tell us why they hate Otis

I don't know why we haven't seen Ex-Temptations books. That's probably a good thing . There have been so many Temptations if they all wrote books they would flood the market.

Let them Mrs. Molly that will bring the o'mighty O's down to earth. You know he(o) thinks he knows everything about tempts.. I like to read a fair balance book about all members not the ones who sung lead.

We need other books. You have alot of folks out here, especially on message boards, that think Mr. Otis is the RIGHTOUS ONE!

Well you would never hear it from Eddie. He said in that Donnie Simpson interview that he wouldn't do it. Yea, Eddiesluv I heard the same thing Eddie will never write a tell all book like that rat Otis. David mention he was going to tell his side of the story but, faith took him away {DARN}[/b]. Since the original members {David, Eddie, Paul and Melvin} are no longer with us do we really want to hear from the other 200 members. I want to hear the {Magic}[/b] when it all start not the end results of a product {sorry 200 revolvers}[/b].

Beyond that, I have had my filll of, "I'm feeling myself" books written by any Temptation, Otis Williams' was way more than enough for my tastes

People were puzzled back in the day when his book came out. The thinking was like yours, why Otis? Fans wanted to hear friom Ruff and Eddie then. His book did better the second time around.
