Board,
I was watching the 'movie' last night:
The part in question:
BG told the tempts member Shelly Berger was their new manager because he felt the group should be more "global" in terms of their fans. The next scene: Paul makes a statement "now we are going to pissed off our 'black fans'.
When the group started singing alot of their fans were black(I think), now that the fame and fortune rolls in tempts want to be consider a mainstream group.
I know it had to be a lot of talk in Detroit tempts are going to do what??
My question is: What was the tempts members view about crossing over to the mainstream did they think black fans were going to turn on them.
