That's pretty neat, Brandy! Why don't you put the banner in your sig? That would show the full effect of it better!

Go into your profile and under the avatar section, you'll see 'signature'. Put the codes [/img] around the url where you have your banner started, ie, image hosting site like imageshack, photobucket, etc. Just like you were able to have the pic posted in your post, you do the same thing in your signature. BTW, if the codes don't work, that means you don't have to use them. Just use the url and your pic should come out.
