You guys still watching this show? I just watched the one with The Manhattans and I must admit that I'm quite smitten with their original lead singer, George "Smitty" Smith...he had such a heartfelt voice, what a tragedy. I grew up with one of Blue Lovett's children and even have a pic of him on my Facebook page. I never knew he had a famous daddy until I was grown. Funny thing, his voice is deeper than his daddy's now lol.

I have to watch this on youtube when someone uploads it. I am cable challenged so I don't get to see the episode right away. Yes, I heard of George Smitty Smith years ago when I used to read/post on soulful detroit. One of the posters was his former girlfriend and she used to through up pics of them together. Anyway, I had clip of him and the Manhattans, singing in Washington Square in the early 70s. It was on one of these bootleg music dvds that I bought on ebay.
